OpenField is proud to announce that the new generation of OpenField Micro gauges will offer real time monitoring capabilities based on a single wire connection from downhole to surface. This feature will be available both on the 1″ gauge optimized for Hydraulic Fracturation as well as the 3/4″ gauge packaged for Drill Stem Testing.
These gauges promise the high resolution, high accuracy data acquisition system that OpenField has so proudly introduced to the market using MEMS microchip technology and expertise. All OpenField gauges are fully qualified, shock tested as well as NACE compliant and offer up to 2.8 million data points of non-volatile memory.
OpenField HTHP gauges measure up to 150°C and 15kpsi with quick mode data acquisition up to 128Hz for reliable data through harsh environment instrumentation.

At an awards ceremony on July 5th, 2012 OpenField Technology was named among the year’s winners in the category “Creation and Development” in the French Ministry of Research and Higher Education’s annual competition, earning the innovative startup €225,000 in research capitol. The July 5th awards ceremony was presided by Geneviève Fioraso, the French minister of Research and Higher Education, and was meant to honor OpenField Technology and the other laureates, chosen from thousands of competing enterprises. October 2012–OpenField Technology is named laureate in the 2012 « Tremplin Enterprises » contest, organized by the French senate and ESSEC Business School.
